Replacing batteries on DS3400 (DS3400 控制器電池故障更換處理方式)
本步驟前提要有兩個控制器系統,假設controller A電池出現異常要更換,步驟是將controller A先停用,停用後確認系統功能正常,若正常則將controller A拔除,並更換電池,更換完畢後將controller A插回.等幾分鐘後,燈後恢復正常,本案結束.

1) Open up storage manager. 打開storage管理界面
2) Go to support tab. 打開support tab
3) Select manage controllers. 選擇異常的controller
4) Select "Place Controller Online or Offline" 點選Place Controller Online or Offline
5) Place the corresponding controller offline for which you would like to replace the battery. 將該controller停用
6) Once the controller is offline, verify through the storage profile that all LUNs are running from the current live controller. 確認系統是否仍然在正常運作
7) Remove the ESM and replace the battery on the offline controller. 移除壞掉的controller並更換電池
8) Replace the ESM and bring it back online through the "Place Controller Online or Offline" menu item under support.
將換好電池的controller插回storage並啟用

9) Repeat process for 2nd ESM. 如果兩個電池都壞則重複步驟3-8
10) Reset battery statistics. 如果燈仍亮請重置電池統計訊息
控制器燈號正常後,storage主機面板需要幾分鐘,異常燈號才會消失,無需警張
